Help ECOLIFE expand its efforts to educate the San Diego community about sustainable agriculture, which conserves water and provides access to fresh produce. Model systems provide fresh produce to over 1,000 homeless families monthly.

• $1 plants 1 Oyamel fir tree, future home for 25k Monarch Butterflies!
• $430 plants an entire acre of Oyamel fir trees!
• $100 builds a fuel-efficient stove serving an entire family of 6–10 individuals!
• $250 builds a fuel-efficient stove, plants 40 trees, and enters the stove into our health and motoring program.

Your donations help reduce open-fire related deaths of women and children, conserve and protect forest trees, watersheds as well as millions of monarch butterflies that rely on the forest during their winter migration. Our goal for 2012 - 50,000 more trees and 500 more stoves - see where we've already installed stoves.

This year ECOLIFE built the first aquaponics model to provide sustainable food and fish to a local community in Bwindi that borders the impenetrable forest, home to nearly half the world's endangered mountain gorillas! In 2012, we will work to build additional systems and hope to build 100 fuel-efficient stoves in Uganda.
